Mrs Buhari Explains Pet Project To Biya’s Wife

The wife of the Presi
dent Mrs Aisha Buhari, has said that she has been working hard to build her pet project “Future Assured”, with the help of the governors’ wives and associates.
Mrs Buhari who said this when she received Mrs Chantal Biya, the First Lady of the Republic of Cameroun, during a two-day official visit to Nigeria with her husband, President Paul Biya, explained the reason behind her involvement in humanitarian services.
“As wives of leaders, our humanitarian services are like bridging the gap between the government and the people of the country. We do not have any constitutional role to play but our assistance enhances the activities of the government” she said.
Meanwhile, the First Lady of the Republic of Cameroun, Mrs Chantal Biya , has expressed delight on the commitment of Mrs Buhari to improving the health and general wellbeing of women and children in the country, she has also indicated interest to partner with Mrs Buhari to better the lives of women and children in both countries.
