Kalu, Ozokwo Rule Turkey

Nigeria’s Uche Kalu and
Nduka Ozokwo have won the Turkish second-tier league title with Adanaspor.
Despite losing 2-0 at home to Alanyaspor at the weekend and with two rounds of games to end the season, Adanaspor were crowned champions with 65 points from 32 games, eight points more than second-placed Alanyaspor.
Former Rizespor forward Kalu, who missed the trophy in the 2012/2013 season with Rizespor, was delighted to be champion this time.
“Thank you lord….champions #Adanaspor…with my familyd’d’d’,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
He scored five goals in 14 games this season, while his compatriot Nduka Ozokwo scored six goals in 30 games.
They will now play in Turkish Super League next season.
