German Journalists Tour Project Sites In Rivers

Journalists from the German ARD Television, a leading public broadcaster in Germany at the weekend toured key projects of the present Rivers State Government in Port Harcourt and Obio/Akpor local government areas.
The German ARD Television reporters were led by the Chief of Bureau of the TV Station in Africa, Sabine Bohland.
Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, conducted the foreign journalists on the project tour as they visited the NPA-Industry Road, UTC Junction, Borikiri roads, Nkpogu-NLNG Bridge, Woji-Akpajo Link Road/Bridge, Diobu roads, including the Law Faculty at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST).
Speaking after the project tour, Nwakaudu, said that the visit by the international media practitioners will showcase the achievements of Governor Nyesom Wike in one year despite dwindling resources to the state.
He noted that the governor will continue to use state resources judiciously to improve the economy of the state through massive construction works that have created employment opportunities for the people of the state.
The media aide to the governor noted that  despite the negative propaganda being sponsored by the opposition, Wike has remained focused to transform the state into a safe and secure environment.
