Police Arrest 60 Cultists In Rivers

Police Command has arrested 60 suspected cultists across various communities in the state.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO) DSP Mohammed Ahmad disclosed this at the police headquarters in Moscow Road in Port Harcourt, while briefing journalists, recently.
The Police spokesperson also said that the eight among the arrested were fatally wounded while trying to escape arrest at their various operational grounds adding some of the cultists were arrested at the point of initiation.
DSP Ahmad also disclosed that the police also recovered 537 assorted ammunition in the period of two months and added that out of the ammunitions recovered were 4 ICED materials.
According to him, the command also recovered 105 cartridges as well as 24 magazine adding that certain period under review, the command also recovered 10 vehicles in course of their operation.
