Okpotu Leads Nigeria League Goals Race

Anthony Okpotu is the leading scorer in the Nigeria league with six goals after nine rounds of matches.
The former Al Ittihad of Libya striker is closely followed by former Nigeria U20 star Wasiu Jimoh, who has netted five goals for Shooting Stars.
Several other players are on four goals – Chisom Egbuchulam (Enugu Rangers), Ismaila Gata (Niger Tornadoes), Mustapha Ibrahim (Wikki Tourists), Prince Aggreh (Kano Pillars) and Kingsley Eduwo (Sunshine Stars).
Last season’s goal king was Gbolahan Salami, who fired 17 goals for Warri Wolves.
