Pierre-Emerick
Aubameyang has reaffirmed his commitment to Borussia Dortmund amid growing interest from Arsenal and Real Madrid.
The Gabon international has emerged as one of the world’s hottest prospects with 35 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions this season, leading Dortmund’s charge for Bundesliga and Europa League glory.
According to Tidesports source, the Gunners are ready to offer the German club a whopping £63.2 million in an attempt to lure Aubameyang away from Signal Iduna Park at the end of the season.
Furthermore, the 26-year-old has admitted that he would like to play for Real Madrid in the future, but is for the time being happy to see out the rest of his contract at BVB: Aubameyang extended his stay at the club until 30 June 2020, last year.
“Dortmund is a city which is totally crazy about football,” Aubameyang told our source.
“In the last years, we have the highest average attendance in Europe. The city is safe and my family feels at home.
“I’ve never made a secret of [the fact] I would someday like to play for Real Madrid, but I also have not extended my contract at BVB until 2020 without a reason. I feel very good here.”
Aubameyang returns to club action this weekend, having scored for the Panthers in international friendly match against Sierra Leone last Friday.
