NBA Boss Advises Lawyers To Invest In Practice

Association (NBA) President, Augustine Alegeh (SAN), has urged lawyers to invest in their profession.
Alegeh stated this during the official commissioning of the Jusweirat Law Resource Centre owned by Synergy Attornies at Atlantic View Estate, Lekki, Lagos State.
Praising the principal partner of the firm, Abiodum Owonikoko (SAN), who named the building after his mother, Mrs Juweirat Owonikoko, he said: “you have shown today that you are indeed interested in the practice. It is by doing this that the business will grow. You made us proud. I congratulate Owoniko for this project and other lawyers who have not done this to emulate him.
In his goodwill message, Deputy Chairman, Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs, HRM Oba Dr Abdulgany Adekunle Saau Dloogunebi-Ajilese 1, spoke well of Abiodun saying he is a worthy son of Iseyin land.
The speech of the Oba who is also the Aseyin of Iseyin land was delivered by Ogboye of Iseyin, Chief Collineius Odusola.
He said: “this is not just because of the achievements he had recorded as a frontline legal practitioner nor of course, his new achievement of building a standard legal chamber of international status but my association with him is based on countless and highly commendable contributions which he had made to his immediate professional constituency (legal profession), Iseyin Community and humanity in general, despite his youthful age.
Former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Mohammed Uwais (GCON, who was represented by his son a Tigani Uwais, a legal practitioner officially commissioned the centre.
