Ex-president of the Ac
tors Guild of Nigeria ( AGN), Ibinabo Fiberesima has been slammed with a whopping 10 million naira fine for allegedly cheating former beauty queen Munachi Uzoma in the Miss Earth Nigeria 2011/2012 beauty pageant.
A presiding judge of the Federal High Court in Port Harcourt, Justice Adolphus-Enuguli on Wednesday, February 9, 2016 agreed with Uzoma that Ibinabo cheated her and breached the contract she signed with her on October 28, 2011.
Miss Uzoma, the winner of Miss Earth Nigeria 2011/2012 had approached the court when she discovered that Ibinabo Fiberesima and AMC Productions breached a contract they signed with her in 2011.
The beauty queen accused Fiberesima of breach of contract for substituting her for a second runner up for a beauty pageant which Feberesima and AMC Productions Limited organised.  This is not the best of times for Ibinabo who currently has a murder case in court.
It would be recalled that on January 28, 2016, the Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos had reserved judgement in the appeal filed by Nollywood actress, Ibinabo Fiberesima challenging the judgement of a Lagos High Court which sentenced her to five years imprisonment for the death of one Dr Giwa Suraj.
The Commissioner of Police Lagos State command had in 2005 charged the ex-beauty queen to the magistrate court on  a count of dangerous and reckless driving along the Ekpe Express Way Lagos which resulted in the death of Dr Suraj.
