NURTW Lauds Buhari’s Economic Reform Policies

The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has lauded the economic reform policies and programmes of President Muhammadu Buhari aimed at improving the welfare of Nigerians and accelerating national development.
The Presdent of NURTW, Alhaji Najeem Usman Yasin said in Abuja that Buhari\’s change agenda is the best that has happened in the history of this nation.
Though Yasin did not give tetails of Buhari’s reform policies and programmes, he said if the policies and programmes are effectively implemented, Nigeria would be on the road to economic boom.
Speaking at the central working committee meeting of NURTW recently, the president of the organization also called for collaboration support of Nigerians in the implementation of Buhari’s change agenda designed to reposition Nigerians economic development.
He also commended the working relationship between the minister of Labour and Productivity, Chris Ngige and NURTW, saying that the commendation from various quarters since the appointment of Ngige as Labour Minister was a recognition of his capacity towards ensuring industrial harmony, employment generation and productivity across the nation.
On the reconstitution of the state councils of NURTW, Yasin expressed happiness over the  peaceful conduct of the election and commended government representatives, Nigerian Labour Congress, sister industrial unions and security agents who collaborated in ensuring successful democratic process in the union.
