NPPF Canvasses Early Preparations For Paralympics

ria Para-Powerlifting Federation (NPPF), Are Feyisetan on Tuesday urged the government to make provisions for early preparations of athletes ahead of the 2016 Paralympic Games.
The ???  reports that the games would hold from Sept. 7 to Sept.18 in Rio de Janero, Brazil.
Feyisetan told newsmen in Lagos that early preparations were vital in ensuring a successful outing at the games.
“By now, our athletes ought to have been in camp ahead of this major competition that will feature different countries around the globe.
“Early preparations will go a long way to enhance our athletes’ performance and prepare their minds,” he said.
The coach said that some of his athletes had begun training in Lagos ahead of the games.
“We have started training on our own part because we cannot afford to perform below what we achieved at the 2012 Paralympics.
“We won six gold medals in 2012 and we hope to exceed our target in Brazil,” he said.
