Movies That Thrilled PH Residents At Yuletide

Harcourt City, the Rivers State capital celebrated the Yuletide, Silverbird Cinemas located at the former Obi-Wali Cultural Centre along Abonnema Wharf road, Port Harcourt showed new blockbuster Nollywood movies thrilled movie buffs in the oil-rich-city.  These movies include:
(1)Oxford Gardens
This new movie which belongs to the Drama Genre features Ngoli Okafor, Ngozi Thompson Igwebike and Savanah Roy among others.
Synopsis
Oxford  Gardens tells the story of Julius, a broken, down-on-his-luck ex-boxer, and Munachi a young woman with a dark secret.  The chance meeting between the two characters on a park bench in Oxford Gardens one summer afternoon starts an unlikely friendship fears, hopes, faith and love, to a stoic, final acceptance of whatever life throws at them.
(2)Beasts of No Nation
This is a drama/war movie which stars Abraham Attah, Emmanuel Affadzi, Ricky Adelayitor
Synopsis
It is a drama based on the experiences of Agu, a child soldier fighting in the civil war of an unnamed African country.
(3)Fifty
This drama, romance and thriller stars Dakore Akande, Ireti Doyle, Dakore Egbuson among others.
Synopsis
Fifty captures a few pivotal days in the lives of four Nigeria women at the pinnacle of their careers.  Meet Tola, Elizabeth, Maria and Kate four friends forced at midlife to take inventory of their personal lives while juggling careers and family against the sprawling backdrops of the upper middle-class neighbourhoods of Ikoyi and Victoria Island in Lagos.

Most times, people judge their life’s journey based on what others post on their social media platforms, you see comment like “Oh she is so pretty, I wish I was like her, he is so rich, I wish I could  afford his car….”.  While it’s okay to admire and appreciate others success in life, never beat yourself up If you’re not there yet because you never really get to see what goes on behind the scenes!

Autumn leaves belongs to animation, comedy and family genre.  It Starrs Adesua Etomi, Stanley Ekwelike, Eucharia Anunobi, Melvin Oduah, Beverly Osu.
Synopsis
A tale of two superstar gay musicians Simon Stanley Ekwelike and Cindy Adesua Etomi) whose parts cross when their managers decided to bring them together in an arranged relationship in order to shore up their public personae and build up their fan base..
House Husband
House husband is a drama genre, it features Kenneth Okolie, Blinda Effah, Ini Dima Okojie etc.
Synopsis
House Husband tells the story of a couple whose roles are reversed after the husband is fired, just as his wife gets a job.  Can the man cope?  Find out in this trilling and exciting movie.
