Moc Promises Hitch-Free Go Round/SWAN Athletics

ganizing Committee (MOC) of the forthcoming Go-Round/SWAN Secondary School Athletics Championships, Honour Sirawoo has assured intending participants of a competition devoid of controversy.
Sirawoo gave this assurance on Monday while officially inaugurating the various sub-committees that were put in place by the MOC to ensure a smooth organization of the championships.
Speaking at the event held at Ernest Ikoli Press Centre, Moscow Road, Port Harcourt, Sirawoo, the current National Vice-President (South-South) of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) also encouraged members of the sub-committees to do their best to excel in their respective committees.
“I want you to see this as a privilege to serve because not everybody is considered. It is our responsibility to make this championships a highly successful one so that we may earn the respect of all. We are confident that with the dedication of all sub-committee members, we will have a hitch-free championships without any form of controversy,” said Sirawoo.
The Sub-Committees inaugurated at the event include the Media and Publicity sub-committee, Ceremonial and Protocol sub-committee as well as Facilities and Venue sub-committee. Others are, Technical, Welfare and Accomodation, Documentation and Accreditation, Transport and Logistics, Security, Contact and Mobilization and the Medical sub-committees.
