K-11 cricket club of
Port Harcourt is set to settle scores with opponent panthers C. C. C., this weekend in the week two fixtures scheduled to be played at the University of Port Harcourt cricket pitch.
The match which is expected to be a thriller would no doubt be a tough game for bothsides as they fight for points in tomorrow’s encounter.
Also, Benvie Cricket Club would take on Whales C. C on Sunday at same venue.
According to coach Tonye timinadi who is one of the organizers of the league and head coach of Rivers State Cricket Association, so far the completion is going on smoothly especially as officiating is free and fair.
“The league just began and so far we have not experienced any form of indiscipline, I pray it continues,” he said.
It would be recalled that K-11 narrowly beat Panthers C. C by four runs in the T-20 League, played last Sunday.
However, k-11 has scored a total of 142 runs while, Panthers C. C ended on 138 runs.
