The All Progressives
Congress(APC) candidate for the Rivers South East senatorial district rerun election  Senator Magnus Ngei Abe has assured the people of his constituency that he will continue to strive for the implementation of the United Nations Environmental Program, UNEP report in Ogoni land if he returns to the National Assembly.
Abe who stated this in his new year message to the people stated that he will continue to stand  firm on the issues concerning the Ogoni and other tribes in the south east senatorial district of Rivers State, even as he vowed not to  relent until success is achieved in all the local governments in the district.
According to him,’’ the financial challenge facing the nation occasioned by the drop in the price of crude oil was enough reason for the people to vote for credible and patriotic leaders who will focus on building every aspect of the country.
he said.
On the forth coming rerun election in the State, Abe called on politicians not to see it as a do or die affair as power is a temporal thing, expressing hope that the era of impunity was over.
