RSSDA Boss Preaches Service

The new Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA) Mr. Lawrence Pepple  has assumed office.
Speaking to the staff in a most frank and welcoming atmosphere, the ED asked all to rededicate themselves to their duties and take seriously the responsibilities that have been entrusted on them by the people of Rivers State and serve them with diligence, uprightness, professionalism and transparency. He said ‘’ You must be transparent because I am, and you must be sincere in all your dealings as we embark on creating a new Agency we all will be proud of’’
The ED/CEO promised to provide the right leadership that would ensure the Agency truly becomes sustainable in every sense of the word, and urged everyone to roll up their sleeves, have their hands on the deck, and deliver on the mandates of the Agency.
‘’We have to work as a family, each person should lead from where he or she is because this Agency is a model of what sustainability should be’’, he said.
Speaking earlier, the General Manager Human Resources and Administration Mr. Tonye Sukubo told the new Director that the staff of the Agency are poised to support his administration, stressing that all the virtues he is known for, are equally the ones the Agency has stood for since inception.
This was corroborated when the Manager Business Development and Job Creation Mrs. Blessing Daniel Kalio spoke on behalf of the entire staff. She promised that members of staff will work with the ED each step of the way to achieve his vision of creating a new RSSDA that will reclaim its rightful position as a critical Agency of government in the drive for the development of Rivers State.
