PDP Chieftain Tasks CTC, Commends Wike

Party chieftain in Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area, Hon. Boma Brown has tasked the new Caretaker Committee chairman, Hon. Dagogo Eli-Leg Jack and commissioner designate, Dr. Akie Fubara to give priority attention to youth empowerment in the area.
Hon. Brown who spoke shortly after the inauguration of the caretaker committee members in Opobo Town at the weekend expressed confidence in the ability of the CTC chairman Hon. Dagogo Eli Legg-Jack to pilot the affairs of the council and give all members of the party a sense of belonging.
The PDP chieftain described Legg-Jack as a seasoned administrator who had impacted positively on the lives of the people when he was the executive chairman stressing that, “I can bet that 85 percent of youths in Opobo/Nkoro will support the new CTC chairman because is a good man.”
Furthermore, Hon. Brown congratulated State Secretary of PDP, Mr. Walter Ibibia and Dr. Akie Fubara on their well deserved appointment as commissioners by Governor Nyesom Wike.
Brown described their appointments as well-deserved, arguing that they are persons with sound records and experience in public service while tasking them to use their new position to contribute to the development of the State.
He also expressed confidence in the ability of the lawmaker representing Opobo/Nkoro in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Adonye Dirito attract development projects and other dividends of democracy to the area.
Meanwhile, Hon. Brown commended Governor Nyesom Wike for his sterling performance since assuming office.
He observed that Wike has performed beyond expectation and has endeared himself to Rivers people and called on the All Progressives Congress (APC) to prepare for 2019 elections rather than distracting the governor whom he said would win election if conducted again.
