King Jaja Urges Prayers For Nation

The Chairman, Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers , King Dandeson Douglas Jaja, has called for a national prayers against the declining fortunes of the Nigerian nation.
King Jaja, who is also the Amanyanabo of Opobo made the call yesterday during a courtesy call by members of the Eckankar Clergy in his office in Port Harcourt.
The King who described Rivers State as a secular State stressed the need for people to open their minds and learn about God, adding that nobody should be restricted from worshipping God in his own way.
While thanking them for the visit, he assured them of the support of the Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers towards the success of the 2015 Eck African Regional Seminar holding in Port Harcourt.
Earlier, the Regional Eck Spiritual Aide (RESA), Ifeatu  John Areh said that the visit was in line with the highest respect which Eckankar accords to the traditional institution.
Ifeatu Jon Areh also informed the King of the 2015 Eck African Regional Seminar in Port Harcourt, adding that, delegates for the seminar which are over 13,000 will arrive from  countries like; South Africa, Zimbabwe, Gabon, Ivory Coast, Benin Republic and across the world.
He said that, the seminar will bring divine blessing not only to Rivers State, but across Nigeria as well as lift the people spiritually.
Also speaking, the Guest speaker at the seminar and a member of Eckankar Clergy, Anne Archer Butcher said that her talk will feature on ways of having greater acess to divine wisdom and urged for the full participation of the traditional rulers.
