University Teacher Scores Nigeria Low At 55

A university lecturer and Professor Emeritus, Prof. Dagogo Fubara, has scored Nigeria below average in the last 55 years of independence.
Professor Fubara who gave the assessment over the weekend in Port Harcourt in a chat with The Tide, attributed the slow progress in the country to greed and corruption.
He noted that the resources in Nigeria were enough to make the country a rapid growing economy among its contemporaries in the world.
He, however, said that the country is gradually progressing even though not at the pace it is supposed to progress when compared with the resources God has given the country.
Prof. Fubara called on the citizens not to lose hope in Nigeria, saying there are indices that Nigeria would one day become a giant nation.
He also urged Nigerians to think of what they can do for the country, rather than what they will benefit from the country.
