Ogu Monarch, Others Hail Ex-LG Boss Over Award

Reactions have continued to  trail the recent award given to the immediate past Caretaker Committee Chairman of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Mr. Isaac Ibiberebupakabo, as the best local government chairman in rural electrification in Rivers State.
The Amanyanabo of Ogu, King Nicholas Ibiebele Nimenibo Loko the 9th said Ibiberebupakabo deserved the award in view of his sterling stewardship in Ogu within three months.
King Loko said apart from politics, Mr. Ibiberebupakabo is a hardworking, respectful, and humble person,who would do better if given a longer period.
He commended the state governemnt for recognizing excellence and thanked Governor Nyesom Wike for appointing a very courageous and humble person like Ibiberebupakabo as chairman.
In his own remarks, the chairman of Bolo Community Development Committee, Asitonka Bomaiprima, said he was not surprised about the award given to Ibiberebupakabo.
According to him, Ibiberebupakabo solved the epileptic power supply in the area which had been a challenge for long within the shortest possible time.
Also, the Chairman of Ogu Divisional Council of Chiefs, Chief Mark Daso Derefaka, and Director General of Rivers State Liaison Office, Abuja, Mr. Vincent Nemieboka, commended the Ibiberebupakabo for the award and urged him to do better if given another opportunity to serve.
Also reacting, Chief Samuel Ibisiki-Mgbeka, said the leadership styles of Ibiberebupakabo is immeasurable and unique describing the award as a motivation for him to do more.
