NAFDAC Sensitises Staff On Work Ethics
The National Agency for Foods and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has urged its officers to abide by its ethics of work.
The Director-General of the agency, Dr Paul Orhii, said at a workshop in Enugu on Monday that the agency was out to ensure that its workforce followed its code of ethics.
Orhii, who was represented by the Director in charge of Special Duties, Dr Abubakar Jimoh advised the officers to give real meaning to themselves.
He urged them not to demand or receive gratification or gifts in an illegal way or deliberately frustrate investigations.
In a lecture, the Deputy Director and Head of Corruption Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr Tanko Abdullahi, described investigation as a systematic and critical examination or research to uncover facts.
Abdullahi said that for investigation reports to be of quality, they must be clear, complete and cover all that called for the investigation.
