The lawmaker
representing Oyigbo Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Chisom Promise Dike, has described Governor Nyesom Wike as a silent achiever, who has returned the city of Port Harcourt to its original plan within 100 days in office.
Hon. Dike, who made the remark yesterday in a phone interview with The Tide in Port Harcourt, said that what Rivers people are witnessing today shows a total departure from what it used to be.
The lawmaker noted that Wike from the day of his inauguration on 29th of May prepared for governance as could be seen in his operation zero-pot-holes in Port Harcourt.
According to him, the action of Governor Wike shows that, he is a man of his word, adding that the Governor has not derailed from the promise he made that every projects that was awarded by the previous government will not be abandoned, completed so far it has positive impacts on the people.
The Oyigbo born politician assured the people of the area that Oyigbo would not be left out of the governor’s agenda, saying that, assurance has been given that the second phase of operation zero-pots-holes would be extended to Oyigbo axis.
Hon. Dike also expressed optimism that the Wike administration would bring to an end disunity and differences among politicians and political parties in the state.
