Rivers Angels Declare War On Sunshine Queens, Today

Rivers Angels FC of Port Harcourt have declared total war on their week 14 opponents in the Women Premier Football League, NWPFL, Sunshine Queens of Akare as both teams clash today at the Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt.
The Angels are still smarting from their recent loss on the road and would want to make amends by achieving a comprehensive victory today and re-establishing themselves as the top dogs of the Women’s League.
The match which is expected to be explosive would be a tantric battle as both sides stake claims to the available points.
The Angels are left with no choice but, to secure the three points at stake in today’s encounter, having lost in their last outing to their Nasarawa counterparts, Amazons at the weekend in an away match.
The hosts have vowed to increase their points on the league chart at the end of today’s battle and remain leaders of their group, in the competition.
On the other hand, the visitors are ready to go all out to ensure that they at least share the points at the end of the day.
Though, the homers may enjoy home support, the opponents who believe that the Angels are now beatable would go the extra mile to ensure that they do not leave Port Harcourt empty handed.
It would be recalled that the Angels are now having 25 points from 13 matches played so far.
