El Kanemi Denies Rangers Away Win

was the hero for El Kanemi Warriors when he scored a brace to deny Rangers an away win in a Week 26 game of Nigeria league on Sunday which ended 2-2.
Rangers started the game like a house on fire and opened the scoring in the seventh minute through Godwin Aguda.
The hosts got the equaliser through former Taraba striker Chinedu Ohanachom in the 14th minute.
Coach Imama Amapakabor-led team restored their lead through Enete Chebem in the 17th minute.
However, Chinedu Ohanachom salvaged a point for El Kanemi when he again shot on target in the 90th minute to end the game in a 2-2 draw.
Meanwhile, Bright Ejike and Esosa Igbinoba have closed the gap on top of the goal scorers’ chart in the Nigeria league at the weekend.
Heartland striker Ejike now has 12 goals, just one behind leading scorer Tunde Adeniji of Sunshine Stars, after his match winner against Warri Wolves on Sunday.
Nasarawa United ace Esosa Igbinoba has now scored 10 goals after he scored in his team’s 3-0 thrashing of Kwara United, same as Gbolahan Salami (Warri Wolves) and Chisom Chikatara (Abia Warriors).
Lobi Stars Tony Okputu and Sunshine Stars Prince Aggreh have scored nine goals each.
Shuaibu Ibrahim (Giwa), Ndifreke Effiong (Abia Warriors) and Ibrahim Mustapha (El Kanemi) have eight goals each.
