Rivers CP Decorates 14 Police Officers

The Rivers State
Commissioner of Police, Mr Chris Ezike, has decorated 14 Senior Police Officers of the command recently promoted by the Inspector General of Police,  Mr. Solomon Arase, and urged them to be more diligent in the discharge of their duties.
The state Commissioner of Police gave the charge while decorating the newly promoted senior police officers in the state at a brief ceremony held at the command’s Officers Mess in Port Harcourt on Monday.
CP Ezike urged the officers to justify the confidence reposed in them  and added that they should uphold the tenets of the police force while discharging  their responsibilities in their new offices.
He called on them to be more dedicated to their various duties.
The commissioner used the opportunity to advise them to maintain high level of discipline in performance of their duties in order to prove that they merited their promotion noting that promotion comes with more responsibility as well as challenges.
The state police boss advised those that were not promoted not to grumble,  adding that promotion comes from God as their time was coming when no man would stop it.
Also speaking, one of the newly promoted officers , Abdulkadir Yahaya, the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Mile I Police Station thanked the Inspector General of Police for finding them worthy of  their new positions.
