NWFL: Registration Of New Players Ends, Today

The Nigeria Women Foot
ball League (NWFL) Board has given clubs in its league up to today to register new players.
The statement was contained on the website of Nigeria Football Federation, in Abuja.
According to the statement clubs participating in the 2014/2015 Nigeria Professional League (NWPL) are free to register more players but must not exceed the maximum quota of 35 players.
It also said that the league body has postponed all Week 12 matches as a result of the quarter finals of the Women’s Federation Cup competition.
The quarter-finals of the 2015 Women Federation Cup is scheduled for today, at the National Stadium, Abuja.
It would be recalled that the 2014/2015 season began in May this year with 16 teams.
These teams include Adamawa Queens, Bayelsa Queens, Confluence Queens, Delta Queens, FC Robo, Ibom Angels, newly promoted Martins Whyte Dove and Osun Babes all in Group A.
Others are last season’s champions, Rivers Angels, Pelican Stars, Edo Queens, Taraba Queens, Nasarawa Amazons, Sunshine Queens, Capital City Doves and City of David Ladies in Group 13.
