Lobi, Sharks Talk Tough Ahead Of League Clash
Lobi Stars goalkeeper Terkaa Melai and Sharks striker Bode Daniel have engaged in a war of words ahead of Wednesday’s rescheduled Week 24 game of the Nigeria Professional League (NPFL).
The game could not hold as earlier scheduled due to Lobi Stars involvement in the Federation Cup.
Melai told newsmen that his team is aware of the recent form of the hosts Sharks but said his team are in good shape too and ready to win in Port Harcourt.
“It’s going to be a tough game because both teams will be motivated by the recent forms and results. Sharks is a good side but I am confident we will surely get the 3 points at stake in the game,” Melai told newsmen.
Sharks striker Bode Daniel on his part said that there won’t be a hiding place for Lobi Stars today as the three points is not negotiable by coach Festus Allen-led team.
“We are preparing for a win against Lobi Stars. That’s the points we needed for now to compliment our last victory against Bayelsa. Victory is not negotiable on Wednesday,” the former Crown FC top scorer told newsmen.
