He said the process of obtaining the driver’s licence should be simplified for Nigerians instead of making them to pass through the crucible.
Barr. Agi called on the Road Safety Corps to borrow a leaf from Nigeria Immigration Service(IMS) which is able to provide international passport for travellers within one day.
The Port Harcourt lawyer remarked that the enlongated process of obtaining the driver’s licence was laughable and pointed out that nothing had changed.
Barr. Agi remarked that the slow process had whittled down the revenue that should be realized in that area.
“You find out some drivers are shying away from the horrifying process and cutting corners”, he stated.
