Former Director General of the National Sports Commission Patrick Ekeji has declared that better days are ahead for the Nigeria league with people like Shehu Dikko in charge.
Ekeji, a former Super Eagles defender, told AfricanFootball.com: “I am really glad to know that Shehu Dikko decided to take the LMC leadership after the lock jam that emerged from the NFF elections.
“I am even more excited because I know the young man very well, his passion to ensure that Nigerians league is at par with the rest of the world is second to none. And already we can see the giant strides he is making with the league. Lots of innovations and people are now following the league once again.”
He added, “Dikko possesses all the qualities needed to turn our league around and one thing I can assure you is that in another two years with him at the helm of affairs, the premier league would be back to its glory days.”
