Sharks Drop Dakubo As Head Coach
The interim head coach of
Sharks FC, Dabo-Ere Dokubo, has been asked to step aside as the head of the technical crew.
According to a release signed by Sharks Media Officer, Peter Abaje, General Manager of the club, Okey Kpaluku, said that management decided to do away with the two time interim Head Coach of the team, due to the team’s poor run of form in the league.
Kpaluku who described Coach Dokubo as a thorough breed coach, thanked the Kalabari born soccer tactician for investing his time with the team.
He added that Dokubo will be replaced by his first assistant Festus Allen who will be in charge of the team till the end of the first round when a substantive head Coach will be appointed on the same lane”.
“You will agree with me that the road has been rough for us this season and I don’t think it is proper we continue”.
“Coach Dokubo is one coach that does not like losing but we have found ourselves in terrible situation and was left with no choice but to withdraw his services as head coach”, Kpaluku said
Sharks poor run came to a head at the weekend following the goalless draw recorded against Nasarawa united in Sharks first match of the season in their backyard, Sharks FC Stadum, Port Harcourt.
