Rivers Angels Remain Unbeating, Win Taraba Queens

Rivers Angels football Club of Port Harcourt, Whyte Ogbondah, has said that the team will continue to do the state proud in the ongoing National Women Premier League (NWPL) and other competitions.
Coach Ogbondah made the statement in a telephone interview with Tidesports shortly after his side won Taraba Queens by a lome goal at Jolly Nyamu stadium Jalingo, over the weekend.
According to him, the match was a keenly contested game, saying that, the match witnessed a heavy down pour which made it difficult for both sides to get a clear chances in the first half play.
The home girl, Onagbu Emm,anuela, scored a 74th minute own goal to deliver the three points at stake into the hands of their visitors.
The Angels have traveled to Abuja to encounter C.O.D Ladies FC in one of the 2015 women Federation cup round of sixteen clash scheduled to be played on Wednesday.
Also, the Angels would visit Benue City to confront Ine Queens in one of the week five matches of the NWPL fixed for Saturday.
The League winners and FA cup champions, are now leading their group with 12 points from four matches.
