…Nigeria In Group Of Death – Siasia

Nigeria U23 team coach Samson Siasia has described their 2015 All Africa Games first round group as “group of death”.
Siasia’s Dream Team VI are in Group B along with arch-rivals and defending champions Ghana, Egypt and Senegal.
Siasia speaking immediately after the draw said, “Waow! This is a group of death”
“Why are we all thrown in the same group?
“This is a very difficult group. Every team in this group has the potential to win the All Africa Games.”
He added: “Well, we are ready but every game in this group would be difficult. And we would approach each one like a final. I can assure you that anyone who makes it out of this group is top favourite to win the gold.”
Nigeria, who won Gold at the 1973 AAG on home soil, beat Gabon and Zambia to qualify for the tournament proper in Congo-Brazzaville from September 4.
Hosts Congo, Sudan, Zimbabwe and Burkina Faso have been drawn in a relatively easier Group A.
