Man, 19, Docked For Stealing Employer’s Money
A 19-year-old man,
Adebayo Oluwatosin, who allegedly stole his employer’s N26,800, was on Thursday arraigned in an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan.
Oluwatosin, whose address is unknown, is facing a charge of stealing money belonging to Funmilayo Odeyemi, his employer.
The prosecutor, Sgt. Oluseye Oyebamiji, told the court that the accused committed the offence on June 27, at Ibadan Property Complex, Dugbe.
Oyebamiji said that the offence contravened Section 390 (9) of the Criminal Code Cap 38, Vol. II Law of Oyo State of Nigeria, 2000.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Magistrate, Mrs P.O. Adetuyibi, granted the accused bail in the sum of N26, 000 with two sureties in like sum.
Adetuyibi adjourned the case till July 24 for mention.
