A Port Harcourt based

Barr. Assor, who stated then while speaking with newsmen in Port Harcourt yesterday expressed regrets over the huge amount of money that was stolen during the previous administration.
He told the Justice Ministry to be diligent and thorough in the prosecution of suspected looters to serve as deterrents to others.
Barr. Assor lamented the high level of corruption in the country and noted that successive governments had either pampered it or connived at it .
He said time had come for Nigerians to say no to it.
“Nigeria is where it is today because of the level of corrupt leaders we have produced. Some leaders had nothing to offer the country,” he said.
“The country’s economy is indeed in a bad shape yet people are stashing away the little the country has. We cannot continue like this. It is regrettable,”he noted.
Barr. Assor said it was unfortunate that things happened the way they did and urged all to expose fraudulent people in their midst.
