IGSDA To Hold Screening Exercise In Rivers West

Committee of the Independent Sports development Association (IGSDA) has said that that it will commence screening exercise for young footballers within the Local government areas of rivers West Senatorial District this weekend.
This was contained in a press release made available yesterday by the National president of the association, Prince Miebi Ogunu to Tidesports in Port Harcourt.
According to Ogunu, the screening is aimed at selecting players to participate in National Competitions, trials and as well form an IGSDA Football Academy.
Meanwhile, on Saturday the Coaches of the association led by it’s Chairman, Coach Rapheal Akunna, a 2012 product of the Nigerian Institute of Sports will screen footballers from Asari-Toru, Akuku-Toru, Degema, Bonny, Abua/Odual and Emohua Local Government Area, Degema is expected to host the exercise.
While on Sunday, Omoku, the headquarter of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area, will host Ahoada West, and Ahoada East for the screening exercise.
The Co-ordinator of the Degema centre is Coach Nelson Barinaka from Rivers South-East Senatorial District.
The event will be witnessed by seasoned Scouts, Coaches of Local Clubs and top Sports journalists.
President of the body this, advised players and coaches to be of good conduct during the exercise.
