Ifeanyi Ubah FC has de
clared former Super Eagles midfielder Sani Kaita missing.
Coach of the Nigeria league side John Obuh, who took charge of his first home game at the weekend, made the disclosure.
According to Obuh, the disappearance of Kaita dealt a huge blow to his game plans in their game against Shooting Stars Sports Club.
Obuh added that the last time he knew anything about Kaita was when they went to Port Harcourt for the match against Heartland of Owerri on July 1.
He threatened that the club would report to the League Management Company (LMC) if the player failed to make himself available.
“What happened is that when we travelled to Port Harcourt, we were to leave immediately after the game and he was not part of those of us who left and up till now, we have not seen him,” Obuh narrated.
“But, I don’t need to look for him, he needs to tell me where he is. If he fails to tell me where he is, then we will report to LMC of his absconding.”
Kaita joined the Nnewi outfit on a three-year deal in May.
Kaita, a former Enyimba and Kano Pillars star, has played for Sparta Rotterdam (Holland), Monaco (France), Olympiakos (Greece), Lokomotiv Moscow, Kuban Krasnodar, FC Alaniya, Tavriya (all in Russia) and Metalist Khakiv (Ukraine).
