Egypt’s Goals Race: Ohawuchi Shoots Ahead

international Stanley Ohawuchi is now the leading scorer in the Egyptian Premier League after he netted 16 goals, two more than closest rival Bassin Morsi of Zamalek.
Ohawuchi, who played for Nigeria at FIFA U20 World Cup in Egypt in 2009, scored a brace on Saturday for Wadi Degla in a 2-1 win over EI-Gounah.
Wadi Degla are now fifth on the league table with 56 points from 37 games.
The former Heartland forward opened the scoring in the 63rd minute and completed a brace five minutes to the end of the game.
Ohawuchi told AfricanFootball.com he hopes to sign out the season with goals in the last game.
“I am happy and feel great like every striker to score a brace and help my team win the game,” he said.
“I hope to score again in the last game of the season.”
