Bruno Iwuoha Appeals For N3.5m To Treat Diabetes, Glacuoma

Actor, Bruno Iwuoha urgently needs help to restore his sight. He was a guest on the Brekete family programme on 104.5Fm in Abuja. While on air, he opened up about his current battle with diabetes and glaucoma.
He revealed that he never knew that he had glaucoma and diabetes until a violent robbery attack landed him in hospital. He said: “I’ve gone to many places within and outside the country for treatment until finally….finally. The thing (diabetes) claimed one of my sight. As I look at you now, I’m using one eye, they call that glaucoma.”
“I have discovered that this thing (the illness) is a life time something and it has robbed me of my job (acting). The actor said he needs the help of kind hearted Nigerians because he has been referred to a US-based  hospital where he is required to have N3.5 million; so far he has about N200,000.
He further stated he got to know that the former president of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan gave the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) some money, but the AGN President, Mrs. Ibanabo Fiberesima-Ebuka never assisted him with any money when he reached out to her.
