AAG: Cycling Coach Confident Of Medal Haul

geria Cycling Federation (NCF) Emmanuel Ononsaya has promised that his cyclists win laurels for the  country as they prepare for the forth-coming All Africa Games (AGG) scheduled to the held this year in Congo.
Ononsaya, who made the pledge in an interview with Tide sports in Port Harcourt over the weekend said that the cyclists have undergone adequate preparations and are now ready for the task ahead.
According to him, he is confidence that the team would do the country proud when the competition finally gets underway saying that, the cyclists have proved their worth during their preparations for the games.
The National team travelled to coted’lvoire for a weeks tour after which they returned to the country and went to Bennin Republic for another one week tour to further fortify their preparations:, he said.
The cyclists were expected back in the country at the weekend from Benine Republic.
He noted that the aim of the tour was to expose the cyclists as well help them get the needed experience to participate in a competition of All Africa Games magnitude.
Ononsaya maintained that the tour was necessary because, they were exposed to tough competitions in the countries visited.
