Seven Fuel-Laden Ships Arrive Lagos Ports

Seven ships laden with
petrol, aviation fuel, kerosene and diesel have arrived at Apapa and Tin-Can Island Ports in Lagos, waiting to berth and discharge at the oil jetties.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said that a ship laden with rice had also arrived at the port to discharge its contents at the ENL Terminal at Apapa Port.
NPA said 41 other ships were expected at the ports as from June 25 to July 15, up from 34 ships expected as at Wednesday.
According to the ports authorities, the expected ships contained fresh fish, bulk salt, secondhand vehicles, buck wheat, crude palm oil, bulk urea, general cargo, bulk gypsum, bulk bauxite, bulk soya and containers.
It said 25 other ships were at the ports discharging buck wheat, bulk sugar, fresh fish, steel products, rice, clincker, petrol, buthane and kerosene.
