Rivers Dep Gov Assures On Better Welfare
Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr Ipalibo Harry- Banigo, has assured staff of her office that priority attention would be given to their welfare.
Harry-Banigo stated this last Wednesday while addressing her staff at a formalisation meeting in Government House, Port Harcourt.
She also assured staff that there would be adequate training and retaining in the system.
According to her administration is the back-bone of every organization and should be taken into high consideration for increased productivity, adding that there should be a flow of understanding among staff.
She warned that absenteeism from duty and lackadaisical attitude to work will not be tolerated in her administration, while urging every staff to be committed to their duties as diligence to duty would attract appropriate rewards.
Responding on behalf of the staff, the Permanent Secretary, Dr George Nwaeke, assured the deputy governor of their total support and adherence to civil service rules.
Nwaeke thanked the deputy governor for the opportunity given to them to serve the state.
