Peterside, Princewill Hail Buhari’s Inaugural Speech

date of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the April governorship election  in Rivers State, Dr. Dakuku Peterside, and his  Labour Party counterpart, Prince Tonye Princewill, have hailed the inaugural speech of President Muhammdu Buhari.
While urging  Nigerians to support President Buhari to achieve set goals and objectives, Peterside in an interview  in Port Harcourt on Saturday, commended the President for his promise to tackle the issue of security,economy, Niger Delta and corruption, noting that the country was passing through hard times.
He explained that the issues raised by President  Buhari in his inaugural speech were commendable and shows that he was out to serve the people.
According to him, “I am impressed with the President’s inaugural speech. It simply shows that the President is in touch with the reality of Nigeria of today.
“He is connected strongly with the current challenges Nigeria is facing, the area of insecurity, specifically Boko Haram and the issue of Niger Delta.”
He said one remarkable thing in his inaugural speech was that the President promised to run an all inclusive government
Meanwhile, Princewill,  in a press statement,  commended Buhari for a well worded speech and encouraged him to stick to every word especially the ones that says:. “I belong to everybody and I belong to nobody.”
According to him,  the statement signifies a collective interest and can only be good for Nigeria, commending him for prioritizing security, the Niger Delta, power and unemployment.
He said, “We feel these are the key issues facing Nigerians today. I encourage you to refer to this speech regularly so as to remind yourself of the expectations of Nigerians and the promises you made to them not as Presidential candidate or as President elect, but as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria’’.
