Okocha Orders Resumption Of Courts

The acting Chief
Judge of Rivers State, Justice Daisy W. Okocha, has ordered immediate resumption of court sitting with effect from Monday 1st   June, 2015.
Justice Daisy gave this directive during a special session to mark the swearing in of a new acting Chief Judge and the acting President of Customary Courts in the state held at the auditorium chambers of the state High Courts, Monday, in Port Harcourt.
The acting Chief Judge of the state averred that the directive became imperatives in other to allow normal activitie to commence forth within the state Judiciary.
She stated that her administration would witnessed a new beginning in the administration of the Judiciary and added that the welfare of staff of the Judiciary would take centre stage of her administration.
Justice Daisy Okocha used the opportunity to call on all categories of staff of the judiciary to be ready to embrace the new changes that would be introduce  in the new leadership, adding that discipline and hard work would be the fulcrum of her administration.
“If you are a cleaner, magistrate, registrar, Judge and other levels staff of the Judiciary to work well” she added.
The acting state Chief Judge called on the workers of the  Judiciary to see themselves as ‘all members the one big family, noting that a what was happening in the judiciary was an act of God’s grace.
She urged every member of the judiciary to contribute their quota for the success of the present  administration in three arms of government in the state.
