Ogunbote Promises To Get 3SC Winning Again
Coach Gbenga Ogunbote
has promised to get troubled Shooting Stars back winning again after a poor start to the season.
The Shooting Stars are bottom of the 20-team Nigeria premier league with eight points from nine matches.
The Ibadan club’s indifferent run has now forced them to replace coach Franklin Howard with the experienced Ogunbote.
“Coach Gbenga Ogunbote resumed training and has called for the support of everybody as the new head coach of the Shooting Stars Sports Club. He has settled in and he hopes to turn around the fortune of the club when the league resumes,” disclosed club spokesman Jubril Arowolo.
Ogunbote, who was handling Sharks this season, was linked with 3SC three seasons ago when he quit Sunshine Stars and lately there were talks he was going to replace Kadiri Ikhana at Enyimba.
