Man City Spies On Flying Eagles Stars

Big-spending EPL outfit Manchester City plan to run the rule on several Flying Eagles stars including Ifeanyi Matthew and Kingley Sokari at the U20 World Cup in New Zealand.
Manchester City’s  head of recruitment,  Gary Worthington  watched Nigeria’s first two matches against Brazil and North Korea after he was hinted on the potentials of several players of the African champions.
“I will spend nine days in New Zealand during which I will watch the first two matches of Nigeria (vs Brazil and North Korea). We have been alerted about some potentials in the team,” Worthington had told Tidesports source.
it was gathered that agents have recommended Bernard Bulbwa, Izu Omego, Sokari and Ifeanyi Matthew to the City top scout.
Worthington is also using  the opportunity to assess the progress other players on the books of City have made.
Kelechi Iheanacho and Chidiebere Nwakali are with the Flying Eagles, while Yaw Yeboah leads three others from Right To Dream Academy in Ghana who will come under the radar of the top City official.
Worthington, who disclosed he will also be at the U17 World Cup in Chile later in the year, equally mentioned he will look out for Portugal midfielder Rony Lopes, who is on loan to Lille in France from City.
