Jusun Pledges Support For Okocha

ciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), Rivers State Chapter has pleged to support the new acting Chief Judge of the state, Justice Daisy N. Okocha during her tenure.
The spoke person of the union in the state, Mr Cletus Kiele, stated this in an interview with The Tide shortly after the special session held at the Judiciary complex in Port Harcourt, Monday.
Mr Cletus Kiele described the resumption of court activities in the state Judiciary as a welcome development and added judiciary workers in the state had long wanted for the reopening of the courts.
He commended the state governor, His Excellency, Nyesom Wike, for the efforts put in place to ensure that workers of the judiciary come back to work again while thanking God Almighty for making the day a reality.
The JUSUN state public relations officer used the opportunity to call on members of the union to brace up to wake up call and resume to their duties accordingly, adding that the union was in support of the opening of the court.
“We are happy that we are back here again after a long period of strike. We are ready to work with the new administration to succeed”, he declared.
Mr Cletus opined that the union was not deterred by the policy of discipline and deligent of the acting Chief Judge, adding that members of the union had always been disciplined and committed staff before now.
He averred that the policy thrust of discipline was not new to staff of state judiciary, adding that their members have been noted of their deligent and hard work.
Jusun PRO while congratulating Justice Daisy Okocha on her appointment as the acting Chief Judge of the state assured of their unalloyed support and loyalty to her administration.
He used the opportunity to call on her to ensure that the welfare of workers are considered top priority in her administration.
