Insecurity:Group Hails Royal Father’s Efforts

Movement (RIM), Etche Local Government Area chapter has commended the efforts initiated by the paramount ruler of Ulakwo/Umuselem Clan, HRH Eze Ken Nwala to curb insecurity in all communities across the clan.
The group in a statement signed by the coordinator, Mr. Echefu Raphael and Onwuli Fabian, secretary respectively, applauded commitment showed by the paramount ruler towards restoring peace and social orderliness in the area.
According to the group, the restoration of peace and orderliness revealed the confidence and support by the people of the clan bestowed on the paramount ruler that brought his emergence as the Onyishi of Umuselem clan.
The group averred that the commitment of the royal father to stamp out crimes and other anti-social vices within his area of jurisdiction was an expression of love to the people.
The Rivers Integrity Movement group urged other traditional rulers across the Etche land to emulate the leadership style of Eze Ken Nwala by ensuring that insecurity were wiped out across Etche land.
They posited that cultism, kidnapping, armed robbery and other anti social vices which have taken centre stage new in Etche communities now were not heard off or known in the land.
“Etche people were known for peace, love and unity. Etche land was not noted for these anti- social behaviours,” the statement added.
The group however, said it has passed a vote of confidence on the traditional ruler for his efforts in tackling the issue of insecurity and other anti-social vices within his domain within the short stay of reign in office.
