Ex-Supporters Boss Writes Off Sharks Players
FC, Supporters Club,
Minaiyo Igani has said that we does not have confidence in players recruited by the club to execute the Nigeria Premier League this season.
He stated that the players may not achieve the goals set by the management, as the players recruited clearly lack the competence to deliver.
Igani said these in a telephone interview with Tidesports on Tuesday saying that it is important to make public players signed to play for the team.
“Personally I must say that I don’t have confidence in the players recruited to play for the team this season. These players may not achieve the desired result for the management and state.
I believe that lack of money contributed in engaging the low quality players currently in the rank of the club”, Igani said.
In another development, the ex-Chairman said that we did not subscribe to the insistence on bring an indigenous Coach for Sharks FC, following their antecedes especially their performances in the past.
According to him, now that there is no head coach to pilot the affairs of the club, Coach Eve Dokubo should continue to be incharge, but I do not buy the idea of him being the substantive coach of the club”.
He however said that his performance within the period he is incharge should be used to judge him.
