The technical adviser of
Dolphins Football Club of Port Harcourt, Stanley Eguma has blamed his players for the 1-0 defeat suffered in the hands of FC Ifeanyi Ubah of Nnewi on Wednesday in the Glo Premier League. According to him, his players failed to keep focus for the entire match and connected the decisive goal when they dropped their concentration level.
Eguma stated this while responding to questions from Sports journalists shortly after this team lost 1-0 to their hosts on Wednesday in Nnewi.
According to him, it is a game they were expected to lose, but unfortunately his players lost concentration.
“It is a game we never expected to lose. It is game we should have won or at least drawn but that moment of loss of concentration caused us to concede that goal”, Eguma said.
Speaking, the coach of FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Mitko Dobrev, expressed joy over the victory, saying that it was the first time he saw his players putting on an impressive performance.
“I am very happy because this is the first time my team has played good football.
“Besides, the three points was also important to me”, Dobrev said.
