Dolphins whitewash Zamfara Babes In B’ball League

ketball Club of Lagos recorded their third straight victory in the Second Phase of the 11th Zenith Female Basketball League at the weekend in Ilorin.
The Dolphins beat Zamfara Babes of Gusau 127 to 33 points in one of the day 4 matches at the competition.
Taraba Hurricanes bounced back from two consecutive defeats to Sunshine Angels on Day 1 and First Deepwater on Day 2 to beat the Immigration girls 52 points to 46.
FCT Angels won their second game of the tournament beating GT 2000 44 points to 37, having lost to Delta Force 72 to 23 on Day 1.
Coal City Queens lost their third straight game of the competition 18-39 against Nasarawa Amazons, while Ahip Queens of Kano
defeated Oluyole Babes 53 to 45 points.
Speaking with newsmen after her team’s resounding victory against Zamfara Babes, the captain of Dolphins, Bintu Badmus, said her team was better technically.
She however acknowledged that most teams have stepped up their game, compared to the first phase in Abuja.
