Dolphins FC Set To Return To Winning Ways

In spite of the current po
sition of Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt on the league table, the Captain of the club, Festus Austin has said that the team would bounce back to winning ways.
Dolphins have played 13 matches and secured only 11 points to sit on 17th position on the log and flirting with relegation at the moment in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Austin, who spoke with Tidesports in a telephone  interview yesterday explaining that the players have not entertained  any fear that the club would be relegated at the end of the season.
According to him, the players have vowed not to lose any game both home and away, as they strive to improve the lot of the club and move up the league table.
“I believe that we will soon bounce back, because the players have vowed not to lose games anymore.
“It is not new that some times clubs normally perform better towards the end of the first stanza of the league. I assure our fans and supporters that we will play in the continent next season”, Austin said.
The captain noted that the players are now in happy mood following the payment of all their standing salaries by the state government.
“As I speak to you our players are very happy now because the Governor, His Excellency Chief Nyesom Wike has approved and released monies to pay all our outstanding salaries, that has actually lifted the spirit of the players”, he stated.
The captain used the forum to thank the governor for responding immediately to their problems and promised to reciprocate accordingly through improved performance.
